Myofascial Release
A hands-on technique that addresses restrictions in the fascial system, relieving pain, improving mobility, and restoring the body's natural flow.
Understanding Fascia
Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds, infuses, and supports every structure in the body — muscles, bones, organs, nerves, and blood vessels. Think of it as a three-dimensional web that runs continuously throughout the entire body without interruption.
When fascia becomes restricted through injury, inflammation, posture, stress, or trauma, it creates tension that can spread far from the original site. This can result in pain, restricted movement, and a general sense of tightness or compression.
Myofascial release works by applying gentle, sustained pressure into the fascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Unlike traditional massage, the pressure is slow and sustained — allowing the fascia time to soften and release.
Conditions That May Benefit
The Treatment Experience
A myofascial release session begins with a thorough assessment of your posture, movement patterns, and areas of restriction or discomfort. Treatment is hands-on and typically involves sustained, low-load stretching pressure applied across the fascial system.
Most people notice changes during and immediately after a session — a sense of ease, reduced pain, or an improved range of motion. The full benefits often continue to develop over the following 24–48 hours as the body integrates the changes.
